Hamish Campbell - founder of visionOntv, who has worked for the Undercurrents media NGO for 10 years. His footage from the Genoa protest in 2001 was used this year to sentence 69 Italian police to prison for human rights abuses. His "ruffcuts" distribution project was one of the most successful of its kind before the age of web video. He was a founder of European newsreal, a radical news magazine screened around the world. He made the video for the Kingsnorth climate camp appeal last year, testifying to illegal stop and search searches by the police, and screened in the Houses of Parliament.

Richard Hering - founder of visionOntv. As an international award-winning investigative reporter for British television, he revealed, among other things, the effects of Chinese nuclear tests, and stopped the illegal mahogany trade from the Brazilian Amazon. He made the first ever UK mass-audience film on environmental direct action. He now aims to build an open video network which will take on the mainstream media corporations.

Marc Barto - training director and project manager at visionOntv. He runs the Open Source software group Spring of Code and a few other tech communities in London. In a previous life Marc has been a scriptwriter for French TV travel documentaries and won the Kieslowski scenario prize in 2002. His video training experience began in the schools of Bordeaux and continued with media analysis workshops in Paris Universities. For visionOntv this year, Marc has organised media workshops for the Transition Network and Amnesty International amongst others.

Sandra de Andrade - I discovered visionOntv at my first video workshop in November 2009. I was preparing to report on Copenhagen Climate Change Conference last December. The events that occured while I was there, made me realise the importance of alternative journalism in safeguarding our rights as citizens. Our voices were buried under the mainstream media coverage. This is the reason why I joined visionOntv to help make grassroots voices reach higher coverage.... I became an active member of the crew since March 2010. I have redesigned in collaboration with the core crew, the former website architecture in the new version of Liferay and working on new upgraded versions.

Hoon Yoon - a freelance cartoonist / illustrator / graphic designer  she is currently working and studying in London. Before moving to Europe she worked as a manga artist for a living.
